Camp. Day 1=flat day

So. Today we flatted, both with Ryan Wood and Phillip Dutton. Both lessons were great inb their own ways. Ryan is an encouraging teacher, focusing on smaller details that fit into the whole. Phillip, after first getting on the horses, then focused on slightly more broad topics that will translate into better rides both cross country and stadium.

Need i mention they were both pleasantly surprised by our fox hunters?

these were all taken after riding. grazing, learning about crazy new saddles with huge holes aka ventilation in them, and making dylan look silly because he has been acting like a goof ball.

Wynton has been super mellow thus far, his craziness only manifesting in a wide eyed look every once in a while, and a nice peppy walk to our first lesson of the day today.

Dylan has been nosier than usual, trying to make friend with anyone and anything that moves. He's been quite successful and has quite a fan base already!

We had two visitors today, Jason and Angela. Both filming for us, taking photos, and listening to what every one way saying about our hansom boys! The videos have not yet made it on the computer.... we only got back to the house around 8... then showers and watching them on the cameras with our noses touching the screens and eyes crossing, i then had to put them away till tomorrow.

So stay tuned for flat videos, jumping, and some super cute photos, as always.

Both boys dont know it, but they are looking forward to tomorrow... jumping! The morning will be stadium, and the afternoon a focus on cross country pace and position.
